Disturbia clothing is an online store which have been "melting brains and breaking hearts since 2003". Really, really impressive illustration on the shirts by a host of different artists, all of which I think put submissions into the designer violence zine i was talking about in the previous post.
The detail and thought that goes into the colour separations for screen printing on these t shirts is really impressive and is something I have been contemplating and thinking about how to do effectively recently. I will post up some of my illustration I have been doing over the summer as soon as I have a scanner available.
I think this shows that there is a context for the type of illustration that I have been working myself up to be able to do well over this summer. Looking at things like the disturbia clothing website is helping me to actualise my ideas properly i think. Its also helping me to spend too much money onawesome t shirts...
